Blended Learning: Rotation Model Implementation Outline

BACKGROUND:

Most recently, in PISD, there has been an effort to implement blended learning in an effort to achieve continuous student growth. One-on-one Chromebooks for all our students were acquired to transform teaching and learning through technology. As an instructional coach, I have noticed teachers and students need additional guidance and support to effectively implement blended learning as a rotation model in their classrooms.

SIGNIFICANCE:

Using the rotation model of blended learning and available technology for implementation gives the teachers an opportunity to plan purposeful lessons and for students to gain valuable skills through their learning in mathematics. Through blended learning, students will be encouraged to take ownership of their learning by collaborating, growing, and applying their skills.
